About Department
The State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department, Telangana, Nizamabad Division comprising of District Fire Office, Nizamabad Division which is located in Nizamabad District and Seven Fire Stations located at Nizamabad, Bodhan, Armoor, Kamareddy, Yellareddy, Madnoor and Banswada along with two Fire Outposts named Fire Outpost , Bheemgal and Fire Outpost, Gandhari which are serving people by giving prompt response to fire calls and other emergencies like floods, earthquakes etc. The Department is striving to create public awareness on fire prevention for various sections of society, providing assistance and advice on conducting Fire Drills.

Department Activities:
The State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department, Telangana, Nizamabad Division activities comprises of Prompt response to fire calls and other emergencies like floods, earthquakes etc , issuance of No Objection Certificate for fire hazardous places, Basic Fire Prevention training to security personnel at Fire Hazardous places, Creation of public awareness on fire prevention for various sections of society, assistance and advice on conducting Fire Drills, providing awareness in public about the Fire Safety measures, providing standby fire safety arrangements at large gatherings by charging a nominal amount, providing the ambulance service for rushing the sick and the injured to hospitals at a nominal charge, to educate and train people in fire prevention and fire fighting, rescue persons involved in the emergency, strive to save life and property by going promptly to the spot of fire and promote interactions within the department to achieve high degree of Professional Excellence.

The State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department, Telangana, Nizamabad Division main scheme and motto is to Serve the People and to protect their lives and property when any fire accident or such other disasters like floods and any other natural calamities occurred.
The Department is also having the website www.fire.telangana.gov.in where common people can apply for Fire No Objection Certificates , Fire Service License (Fire Crackers) for their premises and can get the Fire No Objection Certificate issued by this Department only after ensuring whether all the Fire Safety norms are being followed keeping interest in the view of safety of common public.
