Description about the Department Schemes, their details and related Applications:

  1. Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Hostels :

    The District BC Development Office is providing Food, Accommodation, Books, Note Books and Uniforms to BC Students who are studying 3rd to 10th Class in Pre-matric BC Hostels and Providing Food, Accommodation to BC Students who are studying Intermediate and all after intermediate courses in Post-Matric Hostels.

  2. Pre-Matric Scholarships :

    This office is also sanctioning Pre-Matric Scholarships @Rs.1000/- to each student who are studying 9th & 10th Classes in Government Schools.

  3. Post-Matric Scholarships :

    Further sanctioning Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (RTF) and Maintenance of Charges (MTF) Post-Matric Scholarships to BC and EBC Students who are studying Intermediate and above courses.

  4. Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme :

    This office is also sanctioning an amount of Rs.20.00 Lakhs towards Financial Assistance to BC and EBC Students who are getting higher education in USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, France, South Korea only. Who have completed Degree Course and Posses eligible score in GRE & TOFEL, IELTS and whose annual income is not more than Rs.5.00 Lakhs.

  5. Incentives to Inter Caste Married Couples :

    This office is also sanctioning Incentive Cash award of Rs.10,000/- to BC Inter Caste Married Couples.

  6. Stipend to BC Trainee Advocates :

    This office is also sanctioning Stipend to BC Trainee Advocates during their period @ Rs.1,000/- per month for (3) years.

  7. BC Study Circle :

    BC Study Circle, Nizamabad is providing coaching to unemployed BC and EBC Youth for getting Government Jobs. Further this office is also providing study material and lunch to trainees during the coaching period.

  8. Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Residential Schools :

    Backward Classes Welfare Department is providing Free Education, Accommodation, Note Books and Uniforms to BC Students who are studying 5th to 10th Class and Intermediate Course in the BC Residential Schools and Colleges.

  9. Kalyana Laxmi Scheme :

    Backward Classes Welfare Department is also sanctioning an amount of Rs.75,116/- towards Financial Assistance to BC and EBC unmarried Girls who belongs to Telangana State for their marriage.

  10. Margin Money & SavitriBai Phule Abhyudaya Yojana Scheme :

    BC Development Office is providing subsidy to Backward Classes under Margin Money Scheme in Rural Areas and Savitribai Phule Abhyudaya Yojana Scheme in Urban Areas for their Livelihood with Bank Loan once in 5 Years, within the age limit of 21 to 55 years.

  11. Constructions of Dhobigats :

    This office is being constructed Dhobigats to Washerman to perform their profession with an amount of Rs.5.60 Lakhs wherever necessary.

  12. (11) Federations Scheme :

    This office is also providing Group Loans to Rajaka, Nayibrahmina, Vaddera, Sagara-Uppera, ValmikiBoya, Krishnabalija, Batraja, Vishbrahmana, Kummari Shalivahana, Medara, Toddy Toppers under (11) Federation Scheme with 50% subsidy for Group activities for their livelihood.

  1. Pre-Metric & Post-Metric Hostels :

    There are (19) Pre-matric Hostels and (13) Post-matric Hostels are functioning in the district. (1741) Boarders are residing in Pre-matric Hostels and (1374) Boarders are residing in Post-matric Hostels.

  3. PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS:

    Premetric Scholarships eligible for 9th and 10th Class students for studying in Government Schools. During the Academic Year 2017-18, an amount of Rs.10.29 Lakhs have been released to the district for sanction of Prematric Scholarships to BC Students. Out of which an amount of Rs.8.85 Lakhs have been sanctioned (885) BC Students against the (1270) BC Students applied.

  4. POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS:

    During the Financial Year 2017-18, an amount of Rs.11.58 Lakhs have been released to this district for sanction of Maintenance of Tuition Fee (MTF) to BC Students for the Academic Year 2016-17 and the same have been sanctioned to (28844) BC Students.

    Further, an amount of Rs.1731.19 Lakhs have been released for sanction of Fees Reimbursement (RTF) to BC Students for the Academic Year 2016-17 and the same have been sanctioned to (21156) BC Students.

    Further, an amount of Rs.267.91 Lakhs have been also released for sanction of Fees Reimbursement (RTF) to EBC Students for the Academic Year 2016-17 and out of which an amount of Rs.265.94 Lakhs have been sanctioned (1960) EBC Students.

  5. Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi :

    During the year 2016-17, (13) BC students have been applied and out of which (8) students have been sanctioned Scholarships for getting higher education at abroad.

    Further, (10) BC Students have been applied for sanction of Scholarship under the scheme for the year 2017-18. Further during the year 2017-18 so far (21) students have been registered their applications in the online for Financial Assistance under the scheme and reported the same to Commissioner, BC Welfare, T.S, Hyderabad.

  6. Incentives to Inter Caste Married Couples :

    During the year 2016-17, an amount of Rs.4.07 Lakhs have been sanctioned to (15) BC Inter Caste Married Couples.

  8. Stipend to BC Trainee Advocates :

    Under the Scheme Stipend @ Rs.1,000/- per month is being sanctioned for (3) years to BC Trainee Advocates during their training period. Further an amount of Rs.3000/- for purchase of Law Books and an amount of Rs.585/- towards Enrollment Fees also being sanctioned to them during their training period.

    During the year 2017-18 (2) BC Trainee Advocates have been applied for sanction of stipend. But due to overage they could not selected for sanction of stipend to them. However an amount of Rs.35,750/- have been sanctioned being the arrears to (7) BC Trainee Advocates during the year.

  9. BC Study Circle :

    The BC Study Circle has been started in Nizamabad district in the year 2010-11 for providing training to Backward Classes for attending Competitive Examinations to get Government Jobs. So far (144) candidates have been selected for various Government Jobs. Further an amount of Rs. 3.65 Crores have been sanctioned recently for construction of BC Study Circle Building in the district.

  10. Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Residential Schools :

    The Government have sanctioned (5) Residential Schools to Nizamabad District for establishment in (5) Assembly Constituencies in addition to (1) Residential School already functioning at Kanjar.

  14. Margin Money & Savitri Bai Phule Abhyudaya Yojana Scheme:

    During the financial year 2015-16 under the Scheme, an amount of Rs.662.338 lakhs have been sanctioned as Subsidy to (780) B.C. Beneficiaries as against the target of Rs.817.21 Lakhs to (887) beneficiaries. Out of which an amount of Rs.639.608 lakhs have been released to (753) Beneficiaries so far of which (619) units have been grounded with an amount of Rs.514.738 Lakhs only.

  15. Construction of Dhobighats :

    During the financial year 2016-17, an amount of Rs.21.268 Lakhs have been released for construction of (4) Dhobighats.

  16. (11)-Federations Scheme:

During the financial year 2015-16, an amount of Rs.363.00 lakhs have been sanctioned as Subsidy to (32) B.C. Societies as against the target of Rs.600.00 Lakhs to (40) BC Societies. Out of which an amount of Rs.147.25Lakhs have been released to (16) Societies so far of which (9) Societies have been grounded with an amount of Rs.84.75Lakhs only.
